“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Something the Lord has been showing me lately is my destiny. I know that sounds stupid and very common, but it’s more elaborate than you think. He’s been working with me a lot on fear, and not having it…. not fear (reverence) of Him, that’s good but fear (panic) is a lie from the enemy. He’s also been speaking to me a lot about John 1:1-3. I’ve been meditating more and more on this and God has been revealing how He truly is in everything! Even a secular community, I’m finding it beautiful. Last week as the spirit of religion was setting in, the Holy Spirit revealed Romans 12:1-2 to me, and I thought I’d share it with you guys as some inspiration. One main question I had continually been asking was “Dance has been on my heart so heavily lately, but God is that what you want me to do, or is it just me being selfish”. In response he said “you have a fear of exploring dance and being sucked in and falling away from me, but my Spirit lives in you, I’ll never leave you nor forsake you. I’m with you until the very end of the age and anything you do I’ll bless it, as long as you’re staying connected to the body the renewing your mind through your word, like my word says, you’ll be able to test and approve what My will is”. I just thought I’d share that as some inspiration to you guys. The spirit of religion has tried to keep me back from pursuing my dreams out of fear but who do you think has placed the passion inside of you? God the creator of your very being. The word says the darkness has not overcome the light and I know for the longest time I’ve been hiding behind the church, because inside I believed that that’s where God moved the most, but He’s slowly but surely breaking off that lie because his word says “where sin moves grace moves all the more”. Rather your passion is dance, music, art, science, math, or even scuba diving, God will be with you in those areas. When we accept Christ into our lives we no longer live for ourselves, yes, but we also walk with him through life, it doesn’t mean we stop living, but on the contrary we come alive on all grounds and in all areas. Therefore, brethren pursue the calling God has placed over you, with confidence knowing that Papa God is with you every step of the way, blessing all things that you do!
